Founded by Dr. Margaret Burroughs in 1959, the National Conference of Artists, Inc. (NCA), is one of the oldest African American arts organizations in the United States. The New York chapter formed in 1973 continues to preserve, promote and develop African American Culture and the creative forces of the artists that emanate from the African American and African World Experience.
