Be Still
=Can we be still for a moment?
Can we turn off the volume
In our minds,
Embrace our solitude?
There is a volcano
Erupting in the world.
Can we chill and not panic?
Hot lava is everywhere.
Can we learn
How to walk in space?
We’ve heard the screams.
We’ve seen the bodies.
We want to live.
We want to love.
We must be still,
Allow our hearts
To provide the music.
Allow our imagination
To provide the show.
Only when we are still,
Quiet within ourselves,
Will we hear Mother Nature
And the message
That she brings.
Her message is in her song.
Her song is in the wind.
The wind is the breath
We breathe.
We are forever.
