I grew up listening to WWRL. Dad was general manager of WWRL soul station on AM and president of WRVR pure jazz station on FM. Our home was filled with music, art, political activism, Broadway & Off-Broadway plays, books, and more. I miss my Dad. He died in 2008 two months shy of 89 years old.
