🎉 Black History Month 2025: Let’s Uplift, Inspire, and Celebrate! 🎉
✨ A Celebration of Heritage, Resilience, and Legacy ✨
Welcome to Black History Month 2025! This February, we honor the art, music, literature, and stories that define the African-American experience. From trailblazing artists to civil rights pioneers, every day will be a journey through history, culture, and achievement.
And what better way to begin than with the Black National Anthem?
🎶 “Lift Every Voice and Sing” has been a song of hope and resistance for generations. Originally a poem written by James Weldon Johnson in 1900, it was later set to music by his brother, J. Rosamond Johnson. Today, its message remains as powerful as ever.
To set the tone for this month of reflection and celebration, we bring you Kirk Franklin’s dynamic rendition of this timeless anthem.
