🎂Chucho Valdes (Aka Jesus Valdes Rodiguez ), born October 9, 1941, is a Cuban pianist, bandleader, and composer. He is known for founding the group “Irakere”, which is one of Cuba’s best-known Latin Jazz bands. He has earned 4 Grammy Awards and 3 Latin Grammy Awards.
