Composer Billy Strayhorn’s “Lush Life” Artist’s Video Interpretations
Earlier today, I heard a version of Lush Life, written and composed by Billy Strayhorn, and it brought back many memories, so here’s, for the other Billy Strayhdorn reminiscers. Just about all of the renditions I remember hearing over the years. Blame it on my youth, if you tire of hearing so many artists’ flirtations with the tune. For me, I never tire of hearing the tune. John Coltrane’s version will “Knock your socks off!”
