Since launching in New York in 2013 with a handful of restaurants and increasing enthusiasm, they have grown into a 2-week thrilling celebration in both New York and New Jersey with participating restaurants offering discounted prix-fixe traditional African/African inspired menus.
African Restaurant Week is a celebration of African cuisine, restaurants, and chefs, it’s a promotion of diverse voices in the global culinary movement – both celebrity and emerging, it’s a commitment to community development and social impact, and they invite everyone to be part of it.
