Kwei-Armah has had quite a professional journey. He is Artistic Director of Baltimore CenterStage and Chancellor of the University of the Arts in London. This award-winning British playwright, director, actor and broadcaster was the first black Brtion to have a play, Elmina’s Kitchen, produced in London’s West End. Elmina’s Kitchen is part of his triptych of plays chronicling the struggles of the British African-Caribbean community in London.
