Redd Foxx and Flip Wilson
The Redd Foxx shows contain lots of profanity and for many objectionable material. Redd Foxx’s “Stand Up” – Redd Foxx “HBO Comedy Special 1978 is here because he is one of the foremost American comedians of the 20th Century — and therefore — a must to be included in African-American comedic history. As a young man, I remember sitting and listening to Redd Foxx recordings and being somewhat prudish about the content — so BEWARE! The Flip Wilson with with Richard Pryor and Tim Conway is harmless.—Ronn
