Gale Fulton-Ross

Fulton Ross is a painter, sculptor and speaker. Currently she is an Artist in Residence at Studio Channel Islands Camarillo, CA. Her work is visual art that consist of mixed media with paint, acrylic, oil and ink, on paper and canvas, and includes commissioned designs for outdoor/public sculptures. Fulton Ross’ portraits, convey the dignity of the noble human condition. Her exhibition work is a dramatic mixture of figures and abstract references reflecting emboldened orchestrations of line and brush work that captures the emotions of her subjects as they match those of the artist whose soulful spirit often shines through. Fulton Ross does not have a formal art degree, she has studied with artists nationally and internationally. She is the recipient of several national travel grants including a Pollack Krasner Award; Rockefeller Fellowship and National Endowment for the Arts grant for public sculpture. Gale gave a TEDX Talk on The Creativity Within ( 2016). Her work can be found in many private and public collections- nationally. She is in the permanent collection of The Charles H.
