Trombone virtuoso Clifton Anderson plays with a swinging hard-bop style that he pushes to thrilling extremes for maximum expressive power. Since receiving his first trombone from his uncle Sonny Rollins (whom he has performed with for decades), Anderson has been a member of the legendary Slide Hampton’s World of Trombones ensemble, released several acclaimed recordings, and has worked with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Stevie Wonder to Paul Simon.
