Acclaimed saxophonist Jay Rodriguez joins Grammy-nominated jazz legends Groove Collective and special guests to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the touchstone album and documentary, Stolen Moments: Red Hot + Cool. Named 1994’s record of the year by TIME Magazine, the album, along with an accompanying film, was a watershed work in exploring the impact of AIDS on the African-American community, bringing together jazz greats like Herbie Hancock and Donald Byrd with hip-hop artists like The Roots and The Pharcyde. This special, two-night celebration revisits a landmark piece of cultural history with many of the musicians who made it immortal.
