Routes already came a long way. It started as a print magazine for black entertainment in 1977 with a focus on New York City area.
But a lot has happened since then.
Printing was ceased in ??, later the magazine came back to life in YEAR??? and since YEAR??? evolved into an online publication for those interested in discovering the African-American community.
We believe that the print magazine is also a part of African-American history and culture.
And it should not be lost, just because the magazine moved to the 21th century and became digital.
Here you find a list of back issues, to browse through them online. Each issue comes with a table of content and a linked pdf version representing the original layout and style. The pdf additionally include the events and ads, for additional historical value.
