Art Connects New York partnered with True Colors to create Art Connects New York’s first permanent exhibition of all-commissioned new artworks. Under the guidance of Harlem-based curator, Souleo, eight contemporary artists were paired with True Colors residents to create original, mixed media portraits of their community.
The Art Connects Spring Benefit will be the exclusive preview of these new works before they are permanently installed at the True Colors Residence in Harlem this summer!
Come celebrate Gay Pride Month with Art Connects New York as we salute this exciting step in the life of one of New York’s most important and unique LGBT institutions.
Art Connects Spring Benefit highlights include:
- Cocktail reception with the artists
- Tour led by curator Souleo
- Art sale – work by the commissioned artists & others
- Silent Auction – art, luxury & lifestyle offerings
- New Art Connects gift items
