“Body And Soul”

Various Video Renditions of “Body And Soul”: Barry Harris, Robert Glasper Trio, Bilial, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Billie Holiday, Art Tatum, Arturo Sandoval & Dizzy Gillespie’s Big Band, Esperanza, Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan & Billy Eckstine, Wes Montgomery, Carmen Mcrae, Coleman Hawkins, Teddy Wilson

Today, I was exercising at the gym and listening to my recorded music and I came across a recording of “Body and Soul” by Tuck & Patti — I searched for a video recording of their rendition, but I did not findone. But I decided, anyway, to spend some time discovering how many of the great jazz musicians recorded “Body and Soul”, and, if there were any new musicians playing the tune. I hope you’ll enjoy this treasure trove. I sure there are some renditions here that you’ve never heard. Let me hear something from somebody!—Ronn
