Perri Gaffney

Perri Gaffney adapted her novel, The Resurrection of Alice (J. California Cooper “I love this book!”), into an award winning play. She co-authored two texts with Mitch Weiss; Managing Artists in Pop Music and The Business of Broadway, has articles in Black Masks, African Eye, and The Charlotte Observer, and several poetry commissions.
"ROUTES" will develop a nationwide Theatre Section devoted to "Theatres of Color". "ROUTES" welcomes your knowledge of existing theatres and productions. Please email ronn@ROUTES-mag.com. The Coalition of Theatres of Color (CTC) was first convened in 2004 by the late Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee to address the inequity of funding to chronically underfunded theaters of color. Today CTC exists as a historic assemblage of several of New York’s oldest, ethnically specific, multicultural theaters. CTC membership is comprised of institutions, each thirty years old or more.
