Live in-studio performance and interview with Paul Beaubrun & Zing Experience.
Paul Beaubrun is a singer/songwriter and guitarist, said to embody the “Zing” spirit — a captivating energy and ability to uplift people, to embrace one’s past while living in the present moment and looking forward to the future with hope and determination. Paul comes from an eminent and treasured Haitian family of entertainers and is the grandson of Haiti’s beloved actor/comedian, Theodore Beaubrun aka Languichatte Debordus. He is also the youngest son of Grammy nominated Lolo and Manze Beaubrun, lead singers and founders of Boukman Eksperyans, Haiti’s most influential, popular and revolutionary band.
Paul’s musical vision was shaped young by his family, as he grew up performing alongside them all over the world from the Caribbean, the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Paul’s musical upbringing and passion for his roots fuels the core of the powerful and unique sound of Zing Experience. Paul Beaubrun, along with his band Zing Experience fuze Haitian Roots, Rock and Reggae to create a soulful and memorable sound. Paul’s music and concepts always centre on his deepest belief that “I did not choose music, music chose me. Music can free your soul and make you love yourself and see the world in a better light.”
Doors open at 7:30pm. Guests who would like to be part of the in-studio audience are encouraged to arrive early. Show starts around 7:50pm and it’s first come, first served.
