Global Action Project invites young people to use our new interactive web application to author the history of the policing of youth of color and the legacy of youth activism and resistance. Participants will have the opportunity to add their own stories and media to the timeline as well as share their experiences and ideas about the impact of media and policing in our lives. Coming out of the workshop we’ll have new skills and new ideas about how to analyze and use media in youth led movements for liberation from police violence and repression.
Teen Saturdays is FREE program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts that gives students an opportunity to explore new art forms, introducing new platforms for participants to express their viewpoints, engage their peers, and address relevant issues to the Bronx community.
